Give peace a chance Power to the people John Lennon

11-9-2017  It doesn't seem like there's much time... Ok "Deal" Man (Trump) the "dish:" Rocket Man can't look like he's caving in to "Deal Man." He needs a way out of "this." So you have to pretend to be Monty Hall and get Rocket Man to play. Only behind Door #1, Door #2 and Door #3 is the same thing: A way to keep the "rockets" but "stop" this slow game of "chicken" into WW3. "Rocket Man" has to "want" to become "Factory Man" and join the 21st Century. That is "the deal" that takes you from "not a president" to one of the Greatest Presidents Ever! The Deal: KJI "has" to RE-UNIFY Korea. The Chinese know how: "One state, Two Systems." ONLY... with KJI it's got to be "One County, Two States, One System. The country is "KOREA." One state has to be "communist" DPRK, the other "South Korea, THE ONE SYSTEM has to be "FACTORIES" & profits not "ROCKETS" and WW3. Do that "DEAL" and you're as "GREAT" to the rest of the world as you want to be.

Halloween Report - I Cheated - "Piece of Cake?"

I would never have thought I'd be 'chuking' this one... LOL little play on the WouldChuk moniker.

But I cheated... yep, will divulge it here, have to be honest about it. I ate a piece of cake for "Halloween." It was about a 2" x 2" slice handed to me in a social situation and it was made with white cake, white sweet-cream icing. My fave rave cake of all time, err used to be. So, I've doen so "good" for so long, I said, "Why the hay not?"

Let's "cut to the bite" so to speak: it was a really amazing event after almost one year on my unique dietary regimen.

In about ten minutes after finishing that piece, I felt very drowsy, almost like I'd been given a drug -- whoa! It was the sugar rush! As I drove home, It was only 7:00, but I was having the "nods" like it was really late. Within the hour, it felt like someone had "kicked me in the gut." As I type here, its been 24 hours and only now am I feeling like eating anything. And, its going to be a very "health" smoothie, plain vanilla, no extras. I need to just get something down and hope to feel better.

So, what to conclude? The cake could have been "bad?" Checking with others who had the same, nobody else had any unusual event. Nobody else had any evidence of an adverse reaction to anything served in any way. All were fine. So, my conclusion?

My year long commitment to very pure, almost completely "process" sugarless existence, and certainly no cake, well, I am surprised to conclude that what we eat can be "that" dramatic.

If I had met someone like me a few years ago, saying things like this, I would have actually thought, "nutzoid." And, now it is me. I would never have imagined this.

Right now, if you offered me a piece of cake, I would have the same reaction as if you offered me the flu. Right now, no way no how do I ever want another piece of "cake."

I must admit I am surprised at this.

Happy Halloween?

Will blog again sometime, Walt

Reporting October 20, 2009 189.4 Pounds Down From 212, 50 Days Ago

So it is - my goal was 182, I am shy of it by 7 pounds. But, I'm not complaining. No, my ultimate goal, and I will hit it by the end of the year is 178 -- that's what I weighed the day I graduated from high school in 1971.

How do I remember that? a person asked me just a little while ago. Well, vanity is probably part of the reason, but I was a surfer. And, the length of your surfboard depended on weight. We all wanted to ride really short surfboards in those days. So, weight was a big deal to me and I was gaining toward the end of my senior year, hard as I tried, I kept adding pounds. Yuk!!

Well, calories are my master no more!!! I have learned how to control my appetite, at least enough, to consistently lose weight. And, I am convinced anyone can do it.

I want to share this concept that involves the use of a Vadik herb. But, just how to do it is a challenge. I have shared it with a few people and some with good success. But others, well, I must admit my process for blending and using it is complicated and if you don't do it right it tastes bad. Done right, it's good!!

So, this is my report to date. I use smoothies mostly. Actually eat only three or four meals per week. Was told by one person I'd be dead in six months on the kind of diet I am keeping. Well, I should have been dead 5 months ago! LOL!! Ain't kilt me yet. LOL!!!

So here goes, I am going to open myself up to a real challenge: my private goal is to go down to 157 pounds. I won't make that by the end of the year. But maybe by the
Spring 2010?

I want to do this because I started at 257 - thus, goal-drama animal that I am, I want to be able to say, "I lost 100 pounds."

Now go ahead and berate me for it. I have people on all sides already telling me this diet will kill me, that no one should lose so much weight on purpose, etc. Well, hell, I'm going to do it because I WANT TOO!!! LOL!!!

157 pounds is a real challenge. Then, when I get there, I will begin a weight routine to "hulk-up" to 178. Health charts I read suggest that 178 is my ideal weight.

So, there it is, I've dumped it, my private ambitions. Now, I can't back away from it, you guys will hold me to it. From today's weight its only 30 more pounds. I will slow down my weight loss process to do the next 30 in a more paced fashion.

I know my good friends will wish me well. I am looking to maybe release the process via blog and health and wellness seminars. Probably will start in the Spring.

Keep me honest and be my accountability group is all I ask. Watch some Youtube clips, Charlie Rose and some medical doctors, talk about the concept of "calorie restriction" and its benefits -- really dramatic stuff.

It hit me like a ton of cheeseburgers and fries, Americans could eat 1/2 the calories they currently consume, send those calories to Africa and it would save lives in both places!!! And, people can do this! The process is 'appetite satisfying' not an appetite suppressant. Appetite suppression is more like what happens with drugs and 'stimulants' but this herb i use is a 'calmative' something people with high blood pressure and even heart disease may be able to use safely. I'm not the expert here to say, but the things I've read suggest it.

What I can say is my life and health is no more 'controlled' by calories. I have been able to reduce my appetite urge from that of a jungle cat to only a little kitty, so to speak.

Calorie restriciton is essentially what I am doing, I have herbal help, and it works! I am "free." Free of the angst and the churning of what used to be an almost insatiable appetite.

Third Report - This 50-Day Cycle

Success dieting does not come easy. You don't gain weight fast, and you don't lose it fast either. But, you can gain, hold or lose "steadily." I have finally broken down through the 200 pound level and holding under it. For the longest time, I was moving below and then bouncing back up above 200. Now at 196 and declining, slowly. 30 more days to go and I need to lose 14 pounds to get to 182, my announced goal.

While not a dietitian or professional in the field of weight-loss, all I can verify is my own experiences since 11-11-2008, the day I started my first Qik-50, 50-day cycle. 11-11-2008, I weighed 257 pounds, now at 196, I have lost a total of 61 pounds and keeping it off. Even more, I feel totally in control of my diet and weight--its an experience I have never had before.

Breakthrough Event, getting below 200 and starting down to my goal of 182, here's what I think I had to do, what I think got me through the very hard plateau at 200: I had to cut calories and carbs even more than ever before. I was at about 1200 calories a day and have been there for a long time--losing weight all the way down to 200 to 205 and then it ended. The weight loss bottomed out there.

So, I took the calorie intake down to 800 to 900 per day, current levels. And, then I broke the 200 "barrier" where I have been for about 2 months now. I was making smoothies with "tablespoon" measures of protein, carbs, and fiber. So, I went to "teaspoon" measures in place of tablespoons. The same with other foods, 2oz of meat instead of 4, and reductions of all other servings.

Boom! It was the key, the weight loss has begun again, though slowly. I am also increasing my exercise as I can. I have acquired an EFX - Eliptical Fitness Crosstrainer - a gym quality (jogging type) machine that I picked up from a friend who wanted to help me out. I have used it daily, 20-minutes per day, though only on a low resisitance level - it works great! It's a no-impact jogging experience right at home, terrific!

So, I think the further reduction of calories, and carbs especially (the Atkins diet priniciple), I have broken the hard plateau I hit at the 200 pound level.

30 days, 14 more pounds, I'm on course to get there. Keep me honest!! I'm doing this blog to literally hold myself accoutable to others, I think accountability is a big motivator to do the right things and stay with it!

Will post again when I get to 182, that should be October 20th! C U all then, so for Julie and Julia, this is Walt.

Second Report of My Curent 50-Day Cycle

LAST POST was Sunday, August 30, 2009, Where To Go From Here Posted by "WouldChuk" Walt Clayton at 12:12 AM, and I weighed in at 212.2 pounds. Just weighed agan after starting a new 50-day cycle and at Tuesday September 1, approx 0845 am, I am at 204.6 and this is typical.

The diet elements are very diuretic, and this accounts for an initial "plunge" in weight. This is my 4th cycle after about a 6 week interlude due to life events (family emrgencies) beyond my control. So, after 56 hours, I have shed 212.2 - 204.6 = 7.6 pounds or 2.17 ounces per hour. LOL!! I don't recommend a per hour calc, but just did it anyway for the LOL of it.

BREAK-THROUGH event to report is that I have started this new cycle with a new blend of fibers, a much improved recipe. And, though I had previously just used "smoothies" ONLY for my 'food' eating approximately 3 meals per week (usually salads with tuna or other fish or grilled chicken) I have now begun to have one cooked meal a day including beef and other meats in a gravy made with the new fiber! I add the fiber and herb blend to "no-salt" (potassium) for seasoning. This is big for two reasons, my key ingredients are a blend of several fibers (ultra-fine ground to a consistency as that of powder) and several Vadik herbs (from India) which together offer enhanced benefits of feeling full and hunger abatement. BUT, unlike previous recipes, this new blend does NOT "talk behind your back" LOL!! Not gassy, and that is more! Errr less. and in this case less is best! LOL.

I can use this new recipe like regular "flour" and make gravy or add it to soup and stew (no potatoes, uh-uahhhhh) and it thickens the food. So, I am doing this new 50-day cycle eating one meal per day--along with three smoothies and four to five 1-ounce Qik-50 snax. While I am unsure at this point, I am thinkng that the new recipe will simply provide a type of "seasoning" an addition to regular (slim only) foods--veggies, pasta, soup, stew, weight-watcher type food, etc--and enable you to eat smaller portions without feeling so hungry. So, this cycle and my objective of reaching 182 pounds in 50 days or approximately by October 20th, will be very informative.

I hope to conclude with a really smashing good product that will do things for others that I am enjoying very much!! Don't have a regular plan for posting but every few days, and it sure helps to do this as it keeps me focused on my goals. So, for Julie & Julia, this is Walt signing off after a very good few days of the this new Q-50 cycle.

My family & friends are my true treasures!

Walt
204.6 pounds and loving it!!
After this cycle is complete and results are in, will send sample to those who want to try it.

Where To Go From Here

Hit 257 pounds 01-02-2008 and vowed to change, tried as I may, by 11-11-2008 I had only lost 8 pounds. So, I went to the internet and botta-boom, botta-bing, found my way to what I call Qik-50, a dieting process that works. By my birthday, 07-18-2009, I was at 195. Friends and family know the past six weeks have been tough--lost my brother Doug, 64, and then my father passed away, he made it to 88, would have been 89 in December. Today, 08-30-2009, I weigh 212.2 lbs, so through the roller coaster ride of recent weeks, I have gained some back. Today I start a new 50-day plan and look to shed at least 30 pounds by October 20, 50 days from now. So, I should see 182.2 lbs or lower by then. Hold me to it. My ultimate goal is to reach 157 lbs and be able to claim an even 100 pound drop. I am using a recipe for smoothies consisting of readily available items and a recipe for diet support snax, both recipes are the results of simply my internet search into dieting for minimum hunger and maximum energy. At 157 lbs, I will begin a plan to "bulk-up" to 178, my "ideal weight" based on my 6' height. Here I go. I'll post every other day or so and relate thoughts as I go. I hope to help others do the same! Cheers!!
